Roll and Akon Partner To Take Social Money Global

We are very happy to present you all with the story of our customer Tryroll aka “Roll” which has recently partnered with Akoin, “Akon”.

Being a part of someone’s journey is itself a beautiful part, it has been almost 1 year plus that we “Scalent and Roll” have been working together.

What is Roll?

Roll is a social money infrastructure that allows its issuers to own, control, and monetize the value of their social interactions across all the platforms. Roll creates and issues unique blockchain-based currency to its issuers known as an ERC20 token on the Ethereum Blockchain. This ERC20 token is owned and managed by the issuers. This currency is also called unique, independent currencies “Francois”

Launched in summer 2019, Roll allows people with followings to create their own currency and define the usefulness of that currency. For example, users might be able to redeem the social currency for access to the currency’s creator.

Social money startup Roll is announcing the raising of $1 million from Fabric Ventures, IOSG, William Mougayar, and others. The additional capital brings its total funding to $2.7 million.

In a press release, IOSG’s Joyce Lin wrote, “Roll lets each creator have the freedom to determine the rules within their social economy.”
